Freespirit Twirlers are based in Budleigh Salterton (near Exeter). We have been formed since April 2008 and currently have 19 members, for more information on classes go to our Training Details page.

Our trainer is Jane Freeman who is a qualified N.B.T.A teacher and judge. Over her twirling career she has gained many national and international titles both individually and as a team. She now wants to pass her knowledge onto future twirlers and help to raise the profile of baton twirling.

Our assistant trainer is Marie Ryder. Marie is an NBTA national champion and currently twirls with Metallica Twirlers as an individual and as part of the team.

Our team helper is Tracey Williams. Tracey is fairly new to twirling but with four children now twirling for Freespirit Twirlers she is quickly learning what it is all about. Tracey helps out our new members and assists both Marie and Jane with the training.
